The best products are born from story telling, and great stories embrace archetypes. Think of CLUG as the irreverent outlaw smiling at you as you open the box and you say, "I love you!"...
... CLUG smiles wryly and says, "I know".
Hurdler Studios can help you find the fun in your work. That little something that may invoke a wry smile or prompt a whispered "wow, that's clever". Award-winning design comes from exploration and wonder.

RELAY WHITEBOARDS is a Hurdler Studios internally developed product that includes Branding, Product Design, Web Design, Overseas Manufacturing, and e-commerce strategy.
For more info visitReLay Tiles are 3" × 3" reusable whiteboards that go where you go. Toss them in your laptop bag, stick them to your desk, your fridge, or your window — and write with dry erase, wet erase, or even permanent marker.
Backed with microsuction adhesive...ReLay Whiteboards all have tiny octopus-like suction cups embedded within a thin layer of rubber. These little suckers stick to glass, metal, tile, painted walls, and more.
Just don't try to stick them to your cat...Don't ask us how we know.
ReLay ships flat. A custom-designed recyclable envelope, no bigger than a letter. No oversized boxes. No plastic filler. Just ReLay Tiles and a clear conscience.
During COVID19 lockdown, Hurdler Studios developed an innovative, portable hand-wash station designed specifically for children.
COVID19 CHANGED EVERYTHING.
EVERYTHING CAN CHANGE.
WEE WASH was born from helping a Vancouver-area dance company provide a safe, outdoor Covid19-era dance recital within Canada.
Rapid prototyping and a desire to make a child-friendly product amidst a scary world drove WeeWash towards an innovative assembly process that used no fasteners or electricity, the materials had soft edges, and all parts could be sourced domestically.
User Experience observations showed the overwhelming preference of children wanting to wash their hands rather than use hand sanitizer. With both options offered, every child chose the familiarity of being able to wash their hands.

We believe that design is observation. Viewing the world from different angles and through an an ever expanding lense informs and makes for better products. We hope you enjoy some of our favourite photographs.
